11. All of the Naked Gun movies

good. plain and simple. funny sometimes while just plain crazy others; the naked gun series never failed to amaze me with it's ever-changing comedy routine and classic histarical moments.
10. Airplane! (I & II)

despite it's repeated runtime on comedy central, the airplane! movies give even the most hardcore veterans of the movie new pairs of pants. "Roger Roger, what's our vector Victor?"
9. Hot Shots!

the parody of Top Gun, Hot Shots certainly made a laughing stock out of.. uh.. something. whatever it was, it sure as hell was hillarious. even though i haven't seen the movie in over 4 years, i have nothing but the fondest of memories for it. great!
8. Top Secret!

yes, i realize that all of my favorite movies up to this one have been mostly the same, but top secret takes the cake. even with the same exact comedic routine as airplane, top secret takes home the bacon by adding incoherent violence into the mix!
7. Mr. Smith Goes To Washington

even if you've only watched this movie in your history class, that doesn't make it any less great. plus, you get to see boy scouts run over by model T's!
6. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie

fucking stacked. full of moments you'll cherish throughout your life. ones such as: "Splinter", "PIZZA??!", and "I have a message for you miss O'neil.
*bitch slap*
SHUT IT."
despite whatever people might think about the turtles, by my honest opinion this is one of the greatest movies of all time. even if the costumes were ridiculous and it's full of old 80's hip thangs, you can't get much better.
5. Unbreakable

the first time i popped in this dvd, i really didn't know what to expect. i saw commercials, and from there on all i had to go by was shear assumption. but to my suprise, my assumptions sucked, and i was pleasently told the moving story about a hero without a purpose. sporting an incredible soundtrack, unbreakable leaves you feeling uplifted; something that's hard to come by these days.
"What are you doing back there? Ugh, I swear to god if you're jacking off to the japanese comics..."
4. Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?

another 'pop in and see what happens' movie, i watched this along with my father who insisted that i see it. he said it was funny, so i expected to see a hillarious epic about people in the old west. i soon found out that it was much more than that; composed of 'grapes of wrath'-esk working conditions, Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? is a touching tale about some prison-mates who escape in search of 'treasure'. a must-see.
"How are we supposed to compete in the elections with that kind of attitude?!"
"It's a well-run campaign sir. Midget, broom n' what-not."
3. Signs

hearing that the movie was 'highly religious' didn't stop me from seeing M. Night Shyamalan's newest creation. unlike most of shyamalan's movies, signs starts off quite humorous. this soon changes when strange crop circles start appearing all over town. showing classic 'sixth sense' fear, M. Night changes themes rather quickly all over the place when it hits the half way mark. although i was slightly disapointed in the rather obvious plot-twist near the end, Signs has an incredible story (even if you don't have a religion), incredibly scary moments, and a awe-inspiring soundtrack. Signs will stay with you for years to come.
"I am full of anger!"
2. Clerks

incredibly witty, funny, and worry-free would best describe the plot to clerks. there's no other way to say it. i'm done.
"Which do you think was better: Jedi or the Empire Strikes Back?"
"Empire."
"Blasphamy."
1. Forest Gump

once i watched forest gump for about the 17th time at school, i realized something. this movie has everything. not just small tidbits of joy, or grains of sadness, forest gump (quite literally) has everything that a movie should have, and with an absolutely wonderful soundtrack, i'm just going to watch it again because i'm thinking about it too much.

So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab
