Jon...your anti-American comments confirm what I suspected all along...that you are siding with the terrorists...jonmartensen wrote: Oh yeah, your use of grammar and spelling show precisely the down falls of the American High School system.

I do so love video game flame wars, because they go nowhere.
Get them all. If you can't (like most of us) then stick with what you like. If someone likes something different than you, don't get all 'well this system 0wnz j00r system' because it's really a moot point. They've made their choice, and you've obviously made yours.
That 128Meg thing was a hoot though :O

Everyone is not the same as you.
Get over it.
And lighten up.

With the intelligence of a drunk eating his own vomit, Cat totally missed the point of my last post. I was clearly stating that Xbox and PS2 do use compression for their media in retaliation to timeless saying that less room would mean there would be less quality because things would be compressed.
Xbox uses Bink/Smacker Video for most of their video and wma for their audio. Some Mpeg2 has also been done.
PS2 is still using XA, which can be compared to a good mp2 they're also using Mpeg2 for their video (if the shoe fits, wear it)
GC is using ADX mostly and some funky weird wav differentiating for compression. GC is also the first system to support Mpeg2, Bink/Smacker and DivX. DivX networks is releasing GC SDK's right now for video/audio compression in games.
Jedi: SC2? Sounds like Namco to meh.

See? SEE?!? That's what I'm talking about Timeless, don't just spit out the first excuse that comes to mind. You need to know what you're talking about before you post it.NME wrote:With the intelligence of a drunk eating his own vomit, Cat totally missed the point of my last post. And Thanks for the info NME, half of that I didn't know (especially GCs DivX support).
