I like the rubber band gattling gun, it's an awsome mofo.

I suppose I should mention that the site I found that pic from had that very same antique minigun listed at $55,000.

does this gun actually spin the barrle so that the bullet spins more when it goes out of the chamber?
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

It's hand crank. Anyhow, I think it came from a listing for an auction that has already passed.

does this gun actually spin the barrel so that the bullet spins more when it goes out of the chamber?
No it spins the barrel so it can fire more bullets. While one barrel is firing a round another is ejecting a cartridge, another is being chambered, another is being cocked etc...
Modern guns, like the old gatling gun, use multiple barrels to increase the rate of fire . Lots of heat is generated when a gun fires at a high rate and this damages the barrel and affects the ballistics of the bullets.
This is bad.
The multiple barrels of a modern gating style gun overcomes this problem because each barrel only fires 1 out of every 3 bullets in a 3 barrel gun, 1 out of every 8 bullets in a 8 barrel gun etc...

GAU 8/A Avenger - undoubtedly the most powerful gun in the world even though I have always been partial to the Sig Sauer 226 :D
