IQ- Intelligence quotient, or meaningless number?

Well I believe people's declarations of their IQs about as much as that about 80% of the women in chatrooms are models (or are women, for that matter), but I believe it is a useful thing to keep in mind, if taken with a grain of salt. When I was a child, I had the basic test and the higher-range test, and they wanted to advance me three years in school. Thank God my parents knew how much that would have messed me up socially. And I don't much care for MENSA. I was a member for a year, and they didn't do anything for me but give me some bragging rights and a membership bill. Just my opinion,

IIRC, 105-108 or so.

And Ixiel, although I know what you mean about them, noone has any real reason to want to lie about their IQ. It doesn't really earn them anything or what have you. I'm also feeling that now my MENSA membership (which I almost never mention to anyone, because it often makes them react badly for some reason) is a little redundant, but the special interest magazines are pretty interesting.

Actually, IIRC, 100 is supposed to be average, but most people now score above that.
