The only difference between my personality in on-line forums, and in the real world is the amount I can say without getting busted. Since I don't have many local government authorities breathing down my neck, and taking me seriously on the web, I speak my mind without fear of taking crap from anybody.
However, in the real world, I have to watch what I say. But even then, my views and actions are still considered too extreme.

Like I said before my personality is the same on forum and in person, if anything I dont act as random on the forums as in real life. In real life I am quite social. I have many friends and talk with people every chance I get. Im pretty funny in person and usually find it easy to get along with others. The one thing that is perfectly the same online and in person is the fact that I will back up what I say and dont apologize for what I say. I dont like to make empty threats or promises, if I say I'll kick your ass or say I will do something for you, I damn well mean it. I find that life is good on both the forum and in real life. As far as I know I have no enemies in either, so Im thinking that makes the best arguement on wether or not Im the same online or in person.

Well here I can lay back and make an idiot out of myself, but in real life I have to try real hard to make people laugh. One thing I've always known, never make the same jokes around your parents that you make to your friends, because they'll either think you're stupid, or they'll think it's not funny in any way shape of form.

The forums were a new thing for me since I had never even seen one before so I just jumped on the bandwagon but I realized that it was a way I can actually communicate with people without worrying if they will harrass me if I said something that will offend them, In real life I say stuff that either scares people away to never return or stuff that even atraccts them closer to the point that friendship starts. (Although most girls about face from my semi-philispohical speech and I dont blame them)
My personality in real life is queit except for a massive rant here or there which many people have offered that I should grow up to be an author but where do they get that idea
Also I tend to be obsessive over stuff.( I have a collection of Pokemon cards about 3000+ or more and they wount go away
) I dont even know the diffence between my personallty in the RW and the Forum but I just feel more comfortable talking here.

Why do we try to keep our sanity when losing it is so much more fun?

Same here. We introverts have to stick together.Satomi wrote:I tend to talk more in the forums because I'm not actually looking at someone and talking to them. Offline, I rarely talk and usually stay alone and away from people. The forum is my way of expressing myself without having to look at someone.
