Nah because just about everything those two have told us was actually true and did happen. sadly enough. I remember those days of when every thursday the group meeting came to be (people from the theosophical society). I just locked myself away in the computer room because my mother's spiritual energy is like... way up there.
Believe me, she's written a book on this channelling stuff. Automatic writing it was. Now heres the thing. Mum is a very poor typer, more like the index finger typer and such. When she does automatic typing, her eyes are closed and she is using all her fingers and is typing about probably 200 big words a minute. yeah go figure, i'm still trying to figure it out myself.
Anyway, a soulmate is not really the one that you are looking for. If you want the one go to brazil or italy
but, oh what the hell i hate giving insight... go figure it out for yourselves, fate will join you up when you are ready or not, just don't waste your lives searching for it otherwise I will never be able to see newer AMVs

lol, basically.
ladydx - well, somebody in that relationship has to screw in the lightbulbs and tie people's shoes.
As for soulmates - the "What if they live on the other side of the world? Or they died as a child?" was my first reaction to this whole idea, when I first heard it as a kid. That's my first problem with it.
My other problem with it is that it simplifies EVERYTHING in human interaction down to one question - "Are we soulmates? Y/N" - and ignores all the other factors that go into a relationship. Which I think does people injustice. Life is complicated and messy, and I love that. 8)

actually, i think that by 'soulmate' they're not referring the magical fairy land term, i.e. he's the 'yin' to your 'yang', you were together in your past lives etc.
i think its just a common hollywood-overexploited term which, if you believe the statistics, means 'the person you're gonna be miserably married to for 15 years until divorce, alimony payments, and a fat custody suit do you apart'.
not that's how i would define it for myself.
in fact i personally see it as entirely obsolete in this day and age,
but im all demoralized and postmodernish.
