But Wind Waker and OoT are the exception to the rule in this case. Miyamoto has stated that they are linked, and that Wind Waker takes place in the same world as OoT, only 100 years later. In fact they're closely linked because during the course of the game you discover...

...that the Ganondorf that is the villian in Wind Waker is the same Ganondorf that was in Ocarina of Time

I was finally able to pick up The WindWaker today! That makes me very happy. ^_^ Haven't had enough time to play yet though. -_-

I wonder what kind of dent this will put into my playing time of Master Quest. lol!

Ok, played, found the rumor is false.

The 'loopholes' also become distinguished. It's all explained in the game.

I played much of today!

Some crazy and awesome stuff!

You know, there doesn't seem to be much of a reason to collecting these pearls, except to get stronger to defeat Ganon. Sounds like you yourself has become evil...

I see they've gone back to OT's version of timing for night and day. ^_^
