Something tells me you're not a big fighting game fan, right? SSBM is a pretty different game, but you have to look at all the small changes (standard for fighting game sequels, look at street fighter for example). More characters, added basic techniques, etc. Not exactly a new hat since there is some functionality to it (gotta love the look on a person's face when you use the air dodge on them for the first time). ^_^

You guys don't like the GC controllers? Wow, I would never use any other one. N64 was fine, but I found the joy stick to be to close to the bottom of the thumb.JustAnOrdinaryPanda wrote:I never said it wasn't better (except for the god-damn GC controller). Just not by much. It wasn't a good sequel, its just like a remake.
I really, really dislike the X-Box controllers. I find the buttons are out of the way to use and it feels to huge in your hands. It reminds me of a holding a text book. Their new controller reminds me a lot of the GC ones.
The PS2 controller feels too short and not curved enough. The ends go into the palms of my hands, which is uncomfortable, and it's hard to get a grip.

I love fighting games. VF4 rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And about the controllers, your kidding me right? The GC one doesn't fit into your hand properly, and the PS2 one is supposed to go into your palm, for better grip. Plus it has the most buttons without being massive (XBOX) or looking weird (GCN). Also has diff levels of pressure on ALL the buttons, and is obviously the most practical.

Master games quickly? Sounds like a challenge.JustAnOrdinaryPanda wrote:I don't really see the difference, yes, its smoother, and I master games quickly... so it got too old too fast.
Remember the Simpsons episode with the dolls?
Lisa makes her own doll, except just before they're about to sell it...
"Brand new Malibu Stacy! With a NEW HAT!"

Well, i don't think of SSBM as SSB with a new hat. Yes better graphics is always nice, but just the beginning. New characters, new stages, new moves, new set-ups, new options, new fun! Even the levels are harder. I can no longer beat 3 level 9s all at once!

When you first heard of SSBM and saw or knew nothing about except for the fact its a sequal to SSB what were you expecting or what did you think the game would have. In other words what could they have done better, ignore the controller. I'm just curious thats all.Fine, new hat, new makeup, new shoes, new skirt, and its harder to get into her panties. Still the same doll.
