When I was about 9 or 10 I ran up a ladder that led to a slide. There was an exposed bolt (the threaded end) and I caught my knee on it and tore it open. I got to see my knee cap. :D I had to get 5 stiches and couldn't bend my knee too much for a month or so.

Much later in life I began rollerblading. I've been doing it for about 8 years so far. Jumping on rails and ledges and all that stuff. I've taken many, many, many falls and scrapes. It's always "fun" to go really fast, jump at a ledge and land on your shin, and if your lucky you slide too. One of the worse falls i've taken was when I was in a halfpipe with a spine. I was just learning how to go backwards in one and wasn't really paying attention to my surroundings. There was this square concrete pillar right outside the pipe and I clipped it with the back of my head. It hurt and it bled. But I kept skating.

And i've nutted a rail twice in my entire skating career. It is not fun in the least. It hurts and you stop skating for the day.

Once, when I was at Beaver lake, I had stepped on a broken piece of glass. The glass had gone through my aquasocks and 1 1/2 inches
up into my right foot. Talking about blood and pain...........

Well, I was rushed to the Hospital and it took then an hour and a half to get a doctor to see me. Yeah, it was a good thing that my friend's dad use to be a field medic and had a FA kit in his truck. It took them (well me) 10 shots to deaden my foot enough to give me stiches, all 54 of them. I was hurting for 2 weeks and I was on crutches for a month.

Ok, what you people now know about me....I'm a walking accident. But anyways, I've had my share of accidents.

Ok, me and my friend were stupid and made bombs to blow up brick mailboxes. We happened to break a window and the owner chased us down with his shotgun. Lucky me got shot (not dangerous shot, just a limb, nothing important) and landed in a ditch laughing my ass off. Was later drug tested for my insane laughter.

Martial arts injuries are mere sprained ankles and bloody noses.

Then I fell off the roof while putting up Christmas lights with my friend.
As you can see, my friend always ended up giving me near-death experiences. But it was fun.

Last year I was helping to build a snow sculpture on campus. I was going over to get the hose I think, (gotta keep the snow wet so the sculpture doesn't collapse on itself), and all of a sudden, somebody smacks me in the forehead with a shovel. I guess he didn't know I was behind him.

The strange thing is: it didn't really hurt very much. Maybe it was because it was late, and the temps were near-zero. I don't know, but a few hours later I called it quits, and went back to my room to find that I had apparently been bleeding rather profusely. I had a dark knit hat on, which must have absorbed most of the blood, and kept people from noticing. I had a sizeable and nasty looking lump for about a week or so.
Who knows what fires burn in the souls of others, or what burdens weigh upon their hearts?

In high school I received a head injury by trying to stand up and not realizing the latch of my locker was, uh, in the way. I had to get my head stapled at the hospital. Everybody at school was staring at my bleeding head...

Also on January 1, 2000, just as I was going home after fireworks I injured my left foot and broke a bone. It left a livid bruise that was there for weeks.

Another time coming from fireworks on Victoria Day a coupla years ago I fell ass over teakettle when I was distracted while scoping a chick out who was across the street, thereby injuring myself.

Once, my leg got caught in the chain of my bike and tore a huge chunck of skin off. I found the lump of skin and brought it home. My mother made me throw it out. :?

I was hit by a car once, no major injuries there.

This one suprised even my doctor when I told him the story. Ok, so I was in this building, changing the air filters with my dad (we were in the attic), and my dad asks me to go get more filters. So I take a step back, compleately forgeting about the opening and the stairs behind me. So I fall back, and don't remember much after that. From what my dad tells me, he watched me fall head first down 2 floors of stairs and he saw my head bounce off every step. 5 min after the fall, I wake up, walk to the bathroom (i have no idea what is going on at this point) and look in the mirror. Apperently as I was falling, something got caught and I got cut up pretty bad, so my white shirt was mostly red. Then the numbness went away, I was on painkillers for the rest of the month. My doctor has no idea how I didn't break my neck. :?

When i was in...uh..2nd grade I think, we had a kick ass recess thing goin. We got school PE equipment, so we always played baseball. So a friend of mine was just gonna hit the ball and we were gonna continue across the playground. So I'm next to the batter's box, but my friend is left handed, and I'm not expecting it, but the bad flies RIGHT at me, and i try to curl in, but the bat hits me square on my head. Where the soft spot would be. I wake up covered in blood and being carried to the nurse's office.

Later that same year, my grandpa had mowed the lawn (it was a HUGE lawn, so for some reason he burned his clippings and trash) and i was in 2nd grade so i'm all obsessed with fire. So the fire goes out as i'm watching it, I get a big stick and poke it until flames come back up but it pushed a coke bottle down onto my right leg and it was partially melted, so it stuck right on, painfully burning it.

And my most recent injury was an SUV running me over. I was crossing a intersection, light was red, and I'm thinkin "Ok just cross int he crosswalk" and i was just thinking "It's a normal Day after thanksgiving day, lots of sales, lots of food leftovers, and lots of cold weather". Som i'm crossing, and byt he time i get to the 3rd lane, the light changes to green, so I START to bolt and I look down the empty 4th lane. But suddnely this lady shifts lands and I see this as I'm putting my leg out. My first thought is "pull in the leg" and then black and then I'm spinning and I see into backseat, then she honks at me as I'm spinning. I wake up and the first thing I think what the fuck was OW! so I screamed "OH GOD SOMEONE HELP ME" because it was just painful. Looking at it was a bad idea though. I looked down and the bone was out of the skin (compound fracture i think the doctor called it). Apparently what theyt hink happened was she caught my leg, pulled me under the tire, I spun and landed 22 feet away in the middle of the intersection. I remember the ambluance guy saying "Have you ever taken Karate? Just try to work throught he pain" and I bit my lip so hard it drew blood. Atleast I got to try morphine for the first time.
