a sequel? excellent, i wonder if this time the anal american people will allow it to be shown over here? i can't wait. so he did tora tora tora as well huh? i haven't seen it but i've heard it was pretty good.

The guy who directed Battle Royale, his name is Kinji Fukasaku, is best know in America for directing the 1970 film Tora! Tora! Tora! Well he really he co-directed it. That is the only other film of his that I have see. He recently died recently on January 12, 2003 working on Battle Royale 2. If anyone has heard anything about Battle Royale 2 I would love to know about it, all I have heard is that his son is taking over director.

Tora Tora Tora! One of my all time favorite war movies. I didnt make the connection! Well this is truly a sad thing to find out. Thanks for the info.

tokyo pop is realeasing a manga of battle royal, so that should be fairly good, i saw battle royal about 5 months ago, or something like that, when i bought the special edition, i thought it was a great film GUSTO, it was the only box so i felt super lucky, most of my freinds are hooked on it its great, in fact, i think ill watch it again

Don't confuse battle royale with battle royale high school 2 entirely different things.
