I had this friend that wanted me to take care of her 2 tiny dogs for 4 days, and it was such a pain. I had to walk them three times a day, and I still had to pick up their crap around the house, it was one of the most horrible experiences ever.

Anyway, Animals are just not for me, but I on a side note, I don't think being cruel to animals is ok either. Just don't want any confusion. :)

get a cat and the littermaid...problem solved...now you can have pets without the responsibility of taking care of them! As for food... throw it some table scraps and it'll be a happy kitty! not to mention fat :?

and as for me I have 3 cats (ali, necko, and simba/waleed) and a long haired chihuahua(habib) (which is basically a cat).

my family used to have more pets(birds, fish, rabbit, mice, another dog) but they're too much work, so they either died from a sickness...or were set free.

She's getting old, and she's a doberman. She tries to act like she's younger, but when she slips, you can see it takes her a bit to get up.
awww, sorry to hear that. I know it's not easy seeing them get old. My dog is getting up there. He's showing signs, but he can still jump and run like crazy so, not quite yet. btw, I like dobermans, pretty dogs.

Yes, they are. But thanks man. Hopefully she'll start taking it easy. She's no longer a young pup, contrary to what everyone thinks...

Sounds like an invitation for seerious Bad Karma.
Not really, at least not from my standpoint. Gordo has to eat. Nature is designed so that come creatures need to consume others to live. You stay alive by taking life. Even deer and cows kill (plants are living things too). It's like the phrase on one of my shirts, "How many vegetables had to die for that stupid salad?!". Life is taken by vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. It's just a matter to them of what life is taken. What I do not like is needless death, like people who hunt because they are bored, and don't even eat the animal that they killed. Killing for food, I have nothing against (unless I'm the food, then you had better be prepared for some dirty-ass fighting tactics). Killing for sport, I hate.

Or, to put it another way, if I were to be re-born as a cricket, well, I'd simply do my best to avoid the lizard as best as I could. Although, to be reborn that low on the food chain would fucking suck. I'd probably make it all of five minutes. -_-

I'm a firm believer in the theory of evolurion. If it got caught....well too bad. But I don't go out of my way to enforce it.

And on a side note.... I'm a carnivore. No plants fo me.

Like evolution, only it comes into effect when bad habits and lack of sleep cause you so go insane, trying to kill spiders with a large wooden board, laughing all the time 'cause everything seems funny, and misspelling words like evolution while wasting time on forums WHEN YOU SHOULD BE ASLEEEP!!

But now that I've been up for around 30 hours, the sleepiness is gone. Only the numbness remains...

I've got a 17 year old cat and she is still living. She's one tough little kitty too for the bulldog that comes around is afraid of her. (Past exprience of claws.)

i honestly say i never really much saw any point to animals, owning them i mean. probably due to the fact that i never had a pet. but i guess i like animals generally, not much of a cat person since i'm allergic though. in any case the only pet i'd be able to have is probably just a dog. anything i really wanted i don't would be possible.
