this should aply to fade and the mods the most, sicne they seem to have the most trouble with it. I mean, they let him back in and ban him again for NO reason.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

I don't know how it looks to the rest of you, but it seems like SpPanda was banned the first time for causing trouble. Then, as soon as he comes back, he causes more trouble, so he gets banned again. Why does everyone care so much? Temjin and various other members of the Leesburg crew have been banned multiple times and no one batted an eye. Why should SpPanda be any different? Man, I hate this elitism.

My favorite video: Grilled Steak Trigun I LOVE THE COPS! Rargh!
I ain't 2 proud 2 beg! haha school rumble is great
Why do I always have the most preposterous sigs???
My current favorite thread. I'm a huge fan of GA-JAMMING.

People are getting too worked over this issue. Let's return the discussion to something a little more reasonable.
Hey MODs, would you mind at least giving us your point of view on this? If you did ban SpPanda for a legitimate reason, then it should be no trouble posting that reason here. The fact remains that this banning appears unjustified and you owe the people some kind of an explanation.
Please do not feel that you need not justify your actions to the likes of us. This topic (originally) was very much about the eletism that is harbored in the AMV community. Continued silence supports that argument. Please give us your reasoning.

[MOD: We've said this time and time again - moderators do not have the power (nor do we have the ability) to ban someone, only Phade can do that. As for his reasons, you will have to ask him.]

Very well. If what you say is true, then this does not lie in your court. I shall talk with Phade and request he communicate his reasons to us.

It is true. I have been a mod for different communities [not this one] and
stay in constant contact with several mods and admins. You need
administrator or webmaster status to have the ability to ban people, which
is almost never granted to the rank and file mods [no offence intended].
IMHO Panda quite willingly butted heads with the mods several times in
the opening couple pages of this thread, which would be more than
adequate to get your ass permanently banned in quite a few of the forums
that I frequent. The time lapse between his posts and the actual ban
could very well be accounted for by dialogue between MOD 467 [or
whichever one it was] and Phade, and the time it took Phade to make
his decision. I've also seen and laughed at several similar AIM logs sent
to me by other admins. But I have to say that from what I read, Phade
is very accomodating and reasonable. There was no reason to let Panda
back after the first ban, and yet he did. I consider ROMs to be nothing
but warez and no one should be playing innocent on that point. I mean
really did you not think they were illegal? Anyway I support the mod's
and Phade's decisions on this and I would suggest that you do away with
your "Save the Panda" sigs and avs because they'll only contribute to
more ill will and will mark you as troublemakers. Of course you're free to
do as you wish.
