gee, how many ways are there to get a different IP, lots, masquerading for 1, if dialup just reconnect usually, go through annonomizer.com or something realative to masquerading to proteffct privacy in some way, im sure theres more but im gonna get back to my movie

This site has protections against proxied connections.

well nto that i expect you to illegally masquerade among some dumb AOL user's IP address but if u use a proxy your coming from the same IP as before, if u use a gateway or masquerade an IP for urself, if thats blocked then it exceeds normal parameters in the IP/TCP protocol,

Now, ignoring the fact that doing something like that (masking/masquerading IP) is dumb, and would just tick off Phade and the Mods more I just have to ask: Is it really worth the trouble of doing all that just to get back on the forums? I mean, it's a forum for some unnamed deity's sake, in the long run it's just not that important.

Not to mention the fact that if someone tried that trick a few too many times, it'd probably prompt Phade to shut down the forums altogether since it would prove some people are unable to abide by the rules.

true, but if you really just want to piss somebody off 'cause you don't like them anymore, you'd still do it for whim. not that, sppanda will...

It would be really easy for him to get back in for one post before getting killed. All he'd have to do is go to his public library or school and get on the net. Instead of signing into his own account, create a new one. Use the new account to post. Wow.

He hasn't done that, to my knowledge. It would be reletively simple if he really wanted to do it. The fact that he hasn't shows he is honoring Phade's ban on him.

That being said, people are discussing ways to get around the ban. It makes for interesting discussion. Nobody is suggesting anybody do it. They are pointing out that it would be easy for him to get back in and defy the mods. He hasn't and that speaks volumes.

[MOD678: Last time he was banned, he logged on as another name and called Phade a "homosexual bastard." Volumes indeed. The post was removed immediately, obviously, so few people saw it.]
