Ugg, so many spelling errors, so few hours of sleep (we got slammed at the fire dept last night, which = about 2 hours of sleep)

he's right though; you don't need to be an artist to put a few boxes here and there with some light effects and granulation. although yours did look better wonka, you gotta give 'the kid' a hand for originality.

other than that, the thing is over. stop it before i have to spank you all with my awesome paint skills.

I still like the angel better and I agree with the anti-Photoshop stuff as I've said before.
Don't assume that since people think something is easy that they have no clue what they are talking about. It could just mean that while you shove out good pictures, you're simply slow or you suck. Either way, don't be so presumptuous Wonka.
I have a hard time arguing with you because Bruce Cambell kicks more ass than words can handle...

Id be will to stake my salery that if dark had beat you, you would be spout of miss informed teenage horseshit at him, the same way you are at me.

For the rest of you guys that arnt crying like little bitches with a skinned knee, excellent job. I had alot of fun making all of these pieces and competeing. We should definetly do it again somtime in the near future.
Dark, you need to stay in this time round, Im tired of just competing against you at lil ol HypeO

About my piece: First off, the girl is someone that I like. And she doesnt know it. This picture WAS going to be used to break the ice, but has recieved ALOT of insult (not just from you guys). The wings are sort of scattered for several reasons. If they were uniformed, they would become mundane and boring to look at. Also, it sort of represents the girls inner chaos of emotions, though you would not be able to tell other wise due to the fact that she is resting. Originally, the pic was going to have an added character in it, but I didn't have enough time. I think I will post more on this IN the contests thread.

*also agrees* euro, mine wasnt all made by me, the chick in the middle was a photo. but anyway, my current living space is in random heaps o confusion, thats why i keep on having to drop out o contests. see ya roun wonka, one of these days well actually compete.

Alright, thats enough of that. Euro's decided to leave the forums (Not because of this) Both sides make good points and both sides are also being slightly TOO HOSTILE. So lets just forget the whole affair. I feel that both of the finals submissions were good art, and anyone who says otherwise is a dumbass. So how about we just end that whole debate.

Yay, a review thread! Sorry if this seems like I'm refreshing the thread, but I've been playing EverQuest for the past 5 days, and haven't really been looking at the forum as much.

Regardless, we should do this again sometime, and maybe more people can enter! Thanks to this contest, I started drawing again, and when I'm not drawing under pressure, I make much better pictures. I'll post the two I've been working on soon. (Yes, they're better than the crap I entered before.)

If you're gonna have a new art contest, you might want to make rules that are more specific in the fields of H.D.(Hand drawn) vs D.G. (Digital Graphic). This may help to avoid ANOTHER Euro and Wonka situation.
