Seriously, How important is appearance to you?

I like to look good, just for my sake not anyone elses. My entire life I had a general idea of what I should look like when I am older and now I look that way, love my looks but just because I like the way I look, I couldn't give a rats ass what others think of me although I haven't heard a complaint about it from any of my girlfriends or friends.

Maybe koop was right... I wouldn't mind seeing everybody's mug shots, they might not even look that bad.

When the occasion calls for it, I put some effort into looking decent, but when I'm at home or with friends, I don't especially care. I never gel my hair, and I shower usually 5-6 times a week, which is mainly because I like showers. As a whole on the apperance matter I would have to say I'm largely indifferent to how people act, there are extremes (Such as anerexia (sp?)) that I'm horribly opposed to, and sometimes I feel the media goes too far with it, but in my eyes people can basically do what they wanna do.

I don't care about my personal appearence, I run by the philosophy that the opinion of one person who doesn't like how you look doesn't really matter. Although now I have to take fcare of my appearence since I have long hair which is really a pain....and people keep telling me I have anime hair...

Ya, the old idea that it doesn't matter what people think about you isn't exactly true. It shouldn't matter, but then you can't rely on them, for such things like giving you a job. So many situations depend on what others think about you... Guess it's just something we like to tell ourselves...

sometimes.... I think about what I'm wearing... but than I never think about it again... so I'd say yes.... but no, not after 9am... unless I reak ;-p (NEVAR!). And I never think about what others are wearing... much (less it's like a clown or something where your SUPPOSED to notice... I hate clowns...)
