Xenosaga is coming on 02.25.03!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!! I started Xenogears again about 2 weeks ago just to remember. Even though it is a prequel.

WA3 is freeking SOA Light... unfortunately #1 it's made by Sony! #2 I love SOA

FFX could easily be my favorite rpg if not for tidus' dam gay beak thing... why can't square draw male faces? (Auron?? Wa... nevermind, Tidus' just gay.)

Wakka is SO COOL btw ;-p

oh Shadow Hearts SHADOW HEARTS!! My fave game that I haven't played ;-p that company, Sacnoth, is made up of X-Square employees (janitors... possibly ;-p but they cleaned the crap of Chrono Trigger ppl!!) and I don't just like them cuz I'm an old sentimental fool I played and LOVE their NGPC game, Faselei!.... oh and they did used to be owned by SNK... yeah and SH's prequal, Koudelka, I was looking at for YEARS... that was before I was aware of Sacnoth's involvement.

You also forgot ICO... how dare you! (also a few more like Tales of Eternia... and who could forget Evergrace!... everybody ;-p)

Xenosaga's namco though gears was square -_- but it'll be a kikass ps2 game.... anybody for .hack like tomarrow??

What new Chrono game? if you're talking about break it is only a roumor, and probably a false one at that.

Harvest Moon game is allright, not nearly as good as the N64 ver but... and SO3 will rock. DQ8 may even turn out ok with Enix' brains and Square's bronze (whereas SH is mostly brains little bronze...)

I haven't played ICO, I've just mentioned the RPGs I did play. Tales of Eternia(AKA Tales of Destiny 2 in the U.S.) was a PS game, that was a great game but I've stated in the topic PLAYSTATION 2 RPGs, not PS 1 RPGs.

Star Ocean 3 will probably smash every single RPG into oblivion from the looks of it and the work they seem to be putting into it but theres always a chance it could be a bad game(unlikely to happen though) hopefully they don't hype it so much, they hyped FF X so much and that game dissappointed me sort of. I hope Enix knows what they're doing though.

Well, gameplay has always been the backbone to the Star Ocean series (from what I've seen/played) and from the videos I've seen it looks like it hasn't changed too much, so I'm really looking forward to it. Anyone know when the release date ended up being pushed back to?

You forgot that the story was also pretty nice too. But like Legaia 2... the gameplay was Star Ocean 2's best aspect IMO. The Japanese release date is sometime in Feb or March I think and the U.S. version is not supposed to be coming out until umm... I'm guessing not till Fall of 2003 or so.

Even though it is made by Namco, it is made by mostly ex-square people who worked on the original Xenogears. Must have been a massive layoff at square followed by a massive hiring at Namco...
