I vote Final Fantasy because Final Fantasy 7 is what pulled me into RPGs. I fell in love with that game, and I've tried to play as many Final Fantasies as I can. I liked 8, loved 9, 6 kicked my ass and I need to restart, loathed 5, haven't gotten to 4 yet. I also am playing Final Fantasy Tactics for the third time as we speak.
I've only really played Legned of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Owned. That game was fucking hard and fucking great.

zelda! because when you hear the song from the first one and you start walking around shooting shit out the front of your sword, everything is right in the world... besides ocarina of time was one of the funnest games... but due to a horrible shrapnel wound I incurred during a Sega\Sony skirmish, the entire final fantasy genre was tragically, suddenly and undeniably ruined for me... also watching anything squaresoft related makes the scar itch... the horror....the horror..

Sig generously made and courtiously hosted by darkyre...thnx

roke, 2 things, I also like zelda more, but if you liked 6 give 9 anoter look, as far as word settings, 6 and 9 are the most alike (aother thing to add the the oxymoron list.) And tactics, well, who can't like tactics, did you include tactics in your unlike FF list?
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

I'm a huge Nintendo fan, and I love Zelda, but nothing compares to the sweeping epics that are the Final Fantasy games. FFVII is one of the best games ever created, hands down, but even it pales in comparison to the glory of Final Fantasy Tactics!

Not enough FF fans are on this site. The series is just legendary, the NES ones are alright, but then the Snes and PSX really made FF what it is. I love 4 and 5, and LOVE 7 and 9, 8 was seriously underrated, and 10 was good whilst too linear.
The Zelda games are also excellent, but lacked the... something, probably the breadth of characters and character developement that FF has. Square are IMO unrivaled in what they do.

Thank you Second Panda. (That's your name now, because we've already got one panda and your SN is too long.) I thought we were being over-run by Zelda fans. Zelda can't approach the magical feeling I got from the early Final Fantasy games. The newer ones are still pretty good, but the old ones just rock! And, yeah, I know I already stated my opinion but it needs to be on here again to even things out.

Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

Erm...thanks for the name-allocating. I was aware of the other Panda, but I thought I could get away with it seeing as they don't have a Panda as the avatar... and there wasn't really an option of having another avatar, Genma's the manflint_the_dwarf wrote:Thank you Second Panda. And so I'm not off-topic: FF rules forever
