well... that... or if you consider it dumb to stick a cartridge from a 5.24 floppy (the tape disk thing inside) a cd player.... O_O meh... kids do stupid things when they have nothing else to do..... *evil grin*

The cd drives on the computers at my Highschool would open and close continuoslly if something was in the way, so we would tape a pen verticaly to the inner circle and let the cd tray try to close forever (or until a teacher found it and took out the pen).

My friend actually blew up his hard drive

We don't know what happened exactly but the thing blew up. He was on the internet and all of a sudden he heard a bang and his screen went blank. When we opened up his computer it looked like someone had shot a bullet through the hard drive, but from the inside. So just one side was damaged, but the entire casing on that side was peeled away with a 1-2 inch whole in the center.

Back when I was using the old NEC downstairs the only way to make it startup after a crash would be to hit it rather hard with a plastic baseball bat.
no lie.

That ended when I tried to install a dvd-rom and accidentally fried something important with my static powers. The computer was okay, it just had to be reformatted by some weird jewish guy.

Oh and just so everyone knows here:

Tee hee, it's hard to attack a hard drive with out the case off.

Oh and lyrs I have Win2k running on a P166 w/ 32MB of ram, it runs "ok". My mom uses it for web and stuff. It could use another 32MB of ram though...

The only problem with that emoticon is that he's attacking the monitor not the computer. Poor monitor, getting bashed up even though it's not it's fault.
