Recently I had a dream that I was in this social-criticising vampire movie set in the 70's, where I'm playing all the major parts; a black policeman, a black blues saxophonist, a lesbian street performer, and two competitive private all-boy collage students. They are brought together by their tragic fate, that of unwillingly becoming a creature of the night.. forced to feed upon the blood of the living.
Yesterday I dreamt I was an international spy and I'm penetrating an evil organisation, litterally, mostly by throwing big-ass knives through it's members..

I always have a wierd and vivid dream. It takes place in the future, 2010 or so. The US government has been taken over by religious nuts. Due to over welming fear inside the government, they have started to attack other countries. I come into the story when my neighborhood is basically demolished in a battle between the government and a rebel force that is opposed to the new views that the government has taken. Anyways my family is killed in this battle by the government, so I decided to join up with the rebels. As time passes I become a commander in the rebellion. My dream usually ends when I face my best friend (a member in the MAS crew) in combat. The dream ends with me killing him. . . .
I wonder if this is one of those dreams that come about because I haven't had sex in a couple of months. . . . *lowers head* I am obviously going insane. Its almost creepy how detailed these dreams are, for example the president who basically kills the line seperating church and state, becomes president in 2009 after Hillary Clinton is assassinated by a nut who believes that the country should be run by white men. *lowers head again* DAMN MY MENTAL BREAKDOWN!!!!!!!!

All my dreams involve CQB, sniping, or other forms of combat. Also, all five senses are simulated in my dreams, which makes them incredibly realistic. There's even varying tastes and smells to the air.
The most disturbing thing about my dreams, is the fact I'm still conscious while in REM sleep. While I'm asleep, I'll be taking derivatives of equations, crudely translating Spanish to English (from the little bits and pieces I remember from high school), or even planning out my schedule for the next day (how much of my paycheck I'll deposit at the bank, what tools I need to buy at the hardware store, how many miles I have left before the next oil change, etc). For the most part, though, I'm trying to deduce whether I'm dreaming, or awake.
Even the environment my dreams take place in is incredibly realistic. In fact, all of my dreams take place in a slightly altered version of my town (imagine an alternate dimension, which is about 95% identical to the real world). These dreams also occur in chronological order, so previous events that happen in the same location determine what's going on this time.
