i saw that video. aren't the japanese so interesting i mean they make the greatest movies seriously. you all should watch this one called audition it gave me a chilll. anyways i don't understand why this movie was originally banned in america can you. all it has is some fake blood, but you don't see them banning american made movies with guys wangs in their mouths do you, i'd say that's a bit more graphic than just some blud gushes. anyways, great movie i loved it right off the bat. i think the teacher guy is about the funniest character in the whole movie. dirty bastard and eating the cookies. seriously i think they should implament that idea in my school. there are quite a few people who deserve to have a rusty nail driven through their skulls over here and i wouldn't mind being the hammer.
have you seen any other movies by the guy who did that? i can't remember his name right now but i may later. Sayonara.

Fighting weak oponents leaves me feeling so empty inside.

The guy who directed Battle Royale, his name is Kinji Fukasaku, is best know in America for directing the 1970 film Tora! Tora! Tora! Well he really he co-directed it. That is the only other film of his that I have see. He recently died recently on January 12, 2003 working on Battle Royale 2. If anyone has heard anything about Battle Royale 2 I would love to know about it, all I have heard is that his son is taking over director.

I loved it, but hollywood wants to kill it...screw hollywood, they're on to everybody!Master Shake wrote:I recently got a bootleg copy of Battle Royale. I thought it was a really good film that raised some interesting questions, like what is more impotent survival or loyalty to ones friends. However I only know one other person who saw it and they really didn’t care for it, so I’m just curious about how many of you have seen it and what did you think of it?
