the SciFi channel completely stopped showing anime a few years ago. I remember reading about it, where they said they'd no longer show any mroe animated features. I remember watching the Fatal Fury movie on SciFi...man was that funny with the censor bars.

Probably because of parents complaining that their "innocent darlings' impressionable minds" were being corrupted by those "evil Japanese cartoons". After all, they did show VHD uncut, (The first time at least. They censored it on all subsequent showings)MinnieMoose wrote:Did they say why they stopped.
Wait, they showed the first vamp hunter D? odd.

So...they couldn't show anime all weekend once every few months, but they COULD show a month full of horror movies in october AND Friday the 13th ALL DAY EVERY FREAKIN Friday the 13th.
And why was "Jason Goes to Hell" on BET last week? There weren't even any black actors in that movie that weren't killed in under 20 minutes.

Um. . . word, yo.
And MinnieMoose: I never said it made sense. The Sci-Fi Channel cancelled Mystery Science Theater 3000 after only a couple of seasons, and as I recall it was pretty much the only series they had worth watching. Until Farscape came along anyway.
