Its war. Nasty shyte happens during war, from ALL sides.
The victors just get to hide their shyte a little better, since THEY write the history books.
I like bugging people. Deal with it.

Yeesh, come on Sunshine, if yer gonna make up history at least try and make it sound plausible fer fuck sake. The Japanese were far more interested in sinking those great big war ships in the harbor and destroying their air fields, they didn't give fuck all about no native Filippinos, Stupid.
Excuse me, dumbass, but does MacArthur, or "I shall return!" ring a bell? MacArthur was put in charge of all military action in the South Pacific, and was forced to hold against the Japanese in the Phillippines for over a year with no supplies. Imagine being crammed in a stinking, hot cavern with thousands of native Filippinos sick with disentary, TB, and suffering from malnutrition.

The Japanese were following the Nazi's plan of a major land grab throughout Asia and the Pacific. If you remember, we allied with Chiang Kai Shek and Mao Tsetung to help fight the Japanese in China, and use China as a landing zone for our first retalliation against them for Pearl.

So where am I getting these facts? Try "Chronicle of America", the "Color of War" series on the History Channel, "Secrets of World War II", again on the History Channel. Don't even try to correct me on the North African theater of WWII, because I've studied Rommel as well.
You are sooooo uneducated.

First of all, although Pinyin has its faults, we spell his name Mao Zedong. Second, we were never allied with him even though he put up a better fight against the JPNS and Chiang Kai Shek was the biggest fucker of all. He lost because most of his troops were conscripts that had to be tied together to keep them from running away.

Macarthur deserves respect for what he did after the war.

LOL!

Although I am from the States, I am more than willing to side with the Japanese on their take on the war. IMHO, for the past who-knows-how-long, American foriegn policy has been nothing short of bogus, egotist/superiority oneupman-ship trash.

The States is dipping their hands in EVERYTHING. For the past 5 presidents, we've attacked four East Asian *countries* (ncluding Saudia Arabia AND Iraq), tired to assassinate Saddam Hussein, Fidel Castro and that Taliban guy. Not to mention, we also had a little "scuffle" with North Korea over nukes. All in the name of freedom.

Remember Patriot Act, DMCA, CBDTPA, etc? On those last two, I think we've invaded the Internet too.

"The Internet is a anarchist perr-to-peer, unregulated network full or pr0n and smut, so we're going to take over it!" - Dubya

And as for abortion. Extremist, insane FundaMENTAList Christians get to call abortion (and trust in classroooms) anti-Christ. I don't see us (the sensible people, no doubt) calling those bunch "Anti-Science"! That's EXACTLY what they are! And thanks to Congress, we're not only suing Harvard law professors and Dmitry Skyrlav (or whoever), we've going after physicians too!

My colleagues call me "un patoriotic" and tell me to move to Canada. When I'm in my professional career, that's EXACTLY where I'm going!
Coool!

At least they have universal health care

I'm goin to Japan in about two years.

I also have plans to go to China, Mongolia, India and the whole Tibetan plataue too.

In any case the Japanese were 100% wrong in attacking pearl harbor they were used to there cowardly sneak attacks working they had done it 3 times before In wars with china 1894,Russia 1905, and china again 1933?
What class did you take? They surrendered in August, genius, and that's about as factual as it gets  Lol your right Baka me! Well at least I had the year right.

The Japanese didn't attack Russia, it was Russian colonial expansion that caused conflicting interests. The defeat of the Russians in the battle of Tsushima was very much a fair battle where the Japanese were at a disadvantage, even. The Russians lost 5000 sailors in that battle, but it was Costly for Japan as well. Afterwards, the Japanese, having been impressed with the honorable fight that the Russians put up, awarded the admiral who fought against them with their highest military award.

I never said Tsushima was a surprise attack! Port arthur was. Tsushima was not at all a fair battle how do you figure? Let's look at some facts. The japs had a modern fleet Designed with fighting in mind and the latest british designs. The Russians had to sail around the world with few freindly ports in between since england was allied with the japs. They had to do that because its entire pacific fleet was wiped out at port arthur. The baltic fleet was old and antiquated most of the ships being 20 years or older and some of them were even armed with Muzzle loading cannons! The russian crews were green they did not practice gunnery and all the russian commander could do was keep them in a nice neat straight line. The speed of the fleet at its fastest was 12 knots and its usual speed 8 or 9. The Japanese on the other hand maintained a constant speed of 18 knots were highly trained and all they had to do was wait. Of course the Japanese would win. They even invented a new shell for the battle that had incinderary properties.

Of course, this isn't to say war is clean, or that Japanese were somehow good, but I'm just cramping your act.

I like you
