Remakes. Love'em or hate'em, they always make good trailers. TCM remake looked great in the trailer. I saw it this morning. The movie sucked, big time. It was a "revisioning" written by a hack who threw in some cheap scares. Not psychological and spooky like the first one. Anway, i digress and plug. Check this out:

the DotD remake. The trailer looks semi-decent. Except for the baby zombie. That...i don't know how to take that. But the "news footage" looks badass. Also I had no idea Ving Rhames is in there. He's taking the place of the token black guy from the orig. Trivia madness: That guy from the orig DotD appeared in what other horror movie? Bonus points: What tv show did he appear in and who did he play?

What makes you think the black fellow in the original was a token black guy? Its possible that the ending was making a racial commentary as well.....

Zombies are awsome.
It's hard to say if this'll be better than the original just from the trailer though. I don't like it when zombies are quick, and can jump. I think they should be sluggish and stuff, but relentless and never resting.
Either way i'm gonna see it.

He played the survivalist/token black guy hero in Texas Chainsaw Masscre 3. and he was on keenan and kel.
