I had that done about five or six years ago. It's nothing! You keep your feet elevated (higher than your heart), change the bandages twice a day, using that brown hospital-grade antiseptic, and Neosporin, and finally, IF YOU NEED TO GO ANYWHERE, USE OPEN-TOED SANDALS!
You ought to get a good line-up of movies prepped, because you'll be lying on your back on a couch or bed for the majority of your time, except when you have to use the facilities, eat, or something else comes up that can't be resolved from a reclined position (with or without the use of firearms).
