Wallpaper guide help

Post by Lone Wolf » Sat Jul 05, 2003 4:14 pm

I want to make some cool wallpapers. Do any of you know of a good guide to get still pictures from DVDs and then editing them to make wallpapers? I'm getting tired of looking at my all-black desktop wallpaper.

i use PowerDVD. it allows you to take frame shots from your DVDS, and then i take them into photoshop, all the rest is up to your artistic talent.

except there is one slight problem with that method.. we two..
one: it might not take of anything but black.. (can't capture the overlay) and two..
you have to paste the images one at a time..
stuff that..
I use winDVD and each time I capture a shot (a small camera icon) it save it in the my documents\my pictures\winDVD capture folder
saves me pasting heaps of pictures as it automaticly creates the file..
only it saves them as BMP, but i can live with that

I just go to anipike.com for all the still images and wallpaper 'stock' I need. BTW, anyone have any good motoko aoyama screencaps from the DVDs?
