Who Loves the Opera web browser?

Post by MorningSon » Fri May 09, 2003 3:57 am

I started using the Opera web browser back around version 6 and dl'd the latest version recently.

I was kinda wierd about the whole OSX feel to it so i rarely used it. But I started using it heavily tonite and have gotten used to the mouse gestures already and love it once again.

I recomend it to all. But i want to know what you think about it.

Isn't it for Dos? I could understand using it on a real low end machine.

If you like style, animated buttons and stuff, Opera is choice no.1...

But IMHO Mozilla is better: no spyware, more security, excellent mail client and almost 100% compartible for Netscape plugins.

I only use Opera to dl vids off the carrot, couse it has a neat dl manager.

Mozilla is slow + its download manager sucks more than IE.

That's why I use Mozilla/Phoenix.

Hell yeah I think I have IE 5 but I haven't seen any problems with it. It's a good program.

I use Opera with Active X, Java, and other shit like that turned off. Most pages come up just fine. If I have problems, I switch to IE.

I hate IE because it allows sites to install crapware without your permission - unless you turn off Active X, in which case you get an annoying query box everytime it hits an Active X control.

So Opera equals yes, with me.
