Hey everybody, I'm having a slight technical problem with Word. Every time I open it up I get this one story I was working on and I have to erase the whole thing before I can start working on something. Anyone know how to make it stop? It's really messing with my chi.

Maybe it's the link. I make shortcuts to files all the time on my Desktop, the ones I use all the time. So when you click the files, the program comes up to. Beats opening Word, then opening the file.

To see if I'm even remotely correct, you can check the shortcut (which ever one you use). Rick click it, and choose properties. Check what the "TARGET" is. If it's your file with the story, just change it back to the actual program. If it is the program... then I'm not sure

And if it's not even a shortcut, it'll still come up with properties, but when you click it... there's a lot more different stuff than the properties of a shortcut... -_-

Clear out the .tmp files in your "my docs" folder, it might help, it might not, anyway, do it.
