DBGT: UK and U.S versions

Post by zarius » Sun Apr 20, 2003 4:02 pm

Well, It's been a whilke

yeah, yeah you're wondering "who is this?" "Why should we give a damn?" "he acts like he's been before"

I have.

I hav'nt been here in ages (mostly because I lost my password, and because I've been waiting for Donut to finally get somewhere, but trust me, some people here will recognise me (as if)

anyway, ignore that little "re-intro" above and listien to this

how many of you think that it's at ad stupid for the GT dvdsa to be released in the middle of the Bebi Saga? when, in the U.,K ,we've had it since the beggining.

I've also noticed that the U.S WILL get a new theme song (a rap number) whilst in the U.K, we get an english version of the orginal thing

So, who is handling the dub for DBGT in the UK? Is it still the funimation voices for you guys? Oh, and do you have the uncut stuff?

I want to hear the DBGT theme in English. I have the Japanese version, and it is pretty cool. I have the one used in the show, and the remix one with a woman singing it. Both are good. Hearing it in English would be cool, too.

As far as I know the first dvd starts at the beginning at least the vhs does. Im not a fan of the DB series so I haven't seen it but from what I ve read it starts at the beginning, it might be that way for the DVD though.

In the United Kingdom, some group that has some of the orignal Ocean Dub cast is dubbing GT. In the US, FUNimation is dubbing it. I do not see why the fusk FUNi chose to release GT from 16+ instead of 1+.

Yup, it's Ocean, though the funimation dubs will be far superiror, what they've done to Vegeta's voice is criminal.

Far superior my ass. The Ocean Vegeta is a lot better, in my opinion. He was the first Vegeta, and I like his voice better compared to Christopher Neel's Vegeta.
