There seem to be some sort of pseudo-religious refrences in the movie but I can't quite put my finger on them. Those who have seen toe movie know what I'm talking about (and also can pick out the scene that looked like it was ripped right out of eva.) They nicknamed the room with the precog's the Temple. The people they capture get Haloed, and they have a sentry named Gideon (not sure about the spelling.) who plays Ode to Joy on a pipe organ. Any explanations for this?

Can't really help you there. However, the song was not ode to joy, it was "Jesus bleibet meine freude".
