Pirates of Dark Water

Post by Chaos Angel » Sun Apr 06, 2003 3:20 am

I'm watching it on CN right now. I forgot how much I like this show...

Release it on DVD!! Now!! ::shakes fist at faceless corporation::

We need more animated series that combine sci-fi, fantasy, and pirate genres.

Tell me about it, they never finished the last ep of that show. And it PWN3D too! I watched it all the time loved the music.

that show was cool, but i only saw a few fragments of a few episodes, so i have no idea what it was about. All i know is that the dark water owned ships when they got stuck in it ... did they ever explain what that stuff was? I wish i had watched that show more when i t was on ...

I was talking about it with a friend just the other day.. he thought it died fast while I thought the show was interesting throughout most of the going..

altho.. that bird dude was an unappealing character.. but the two main characters (the main hero and heroine) were rather interesting to watch..

altho the Antagonist of the story was rather bland.. it was still a fun show to watch.. one of those shows I didn't want to change the channel when It turned on.. but alas I haven't seen it in a good 5 to 6 years or more..

cool to hear it has a home on Cartoon Network..

Oh, come on! The monkeybird ruled! But it was obnoxious how they went through the entire show, and NEVER COLLECTED THE LAST ITEM. I mean, talk about no respect for the fans!

Oh, and they usually play it on Boomerang more often, along with the Ed Grimley cartoon.
