A really good book

Post by rurouni_trelane » Thu Mar 27, 2003 8:38 pm

For all you men out there, a really good read is The Book of Guys by Garrison Keilor. It's a collection of 21 stories about what it's like to be male, and it's one of the funniest books I've ever read. Women, unfortunately, will most likely fail to understand it (at best) and at worst they'll think it's chauvinistic drivel (which it's not).

Perhaps your bible, but not mine. I burnt the actual bible. And the ones at the hotel.

OK, at home, with your own Bible, it's fine to burn it. But burning the ones at a hotel is just going too damn far!

Think of all the stoners who could've used those pages!

Orson Scott Card's books are great, but I really prefer the Ender and Baen Saga's instead.

Wheel of Time or WOT is the best and biggest series yet.

Read Dante's Inferno.
"And now you will shed tears of crimson."
