That video was suck. It was just suck. Suck. Get a fucking haircut.
"Hmm, got a new mower!"
"Awesome! But you dont have a lawn? What you do?"
"I tink I will RAID THE WORLD WITH GAS AND KILL YOU!"
"Saucey."
"Pass me that apple. My superhero needs a new rocket ship."
"ZWAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!"
That is the not so audio representation of your suck.

This video was so trite, so much trite I had my fill of it on the first thing, so what if 500,000 people marched in N.York? that's only what, maybe a third of the pop there?*Rolls eyes.* There has to be this war, I may not like it, and yet again I may like it, but that is beyond the point, Bush is trying to save Iraq and the world. And I found a bunch of lyrics that fit Saddam perfectly from the Army's veiw point and the Marines-
-Oh you're so condescending
Your gall is never ending
We don't want nothin', not a thing from you
Your life is trite and jaded
Boring and confiscated
If that's your best, your best won't do - We're not gonna take it, by Twisted sister.. I think, and this fits Bush-
-We're right, yeah
We're free, yeah
We'll fight, yeah
You'll see, yeah- same song and the Iraqi people with Saddam Hussein is the next bit.
-We're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore -
My song's better than your trite song.

I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: 'O Lord, make my enemies ridiculous.' And God granted it.
Never explain--your friends do not need it and your enemies will not believe you anyway.
Money can't buy friends, but it can get you a better class of enemy.

General video : : The video was pretty good.
The timing was worked out well, mostly cut transitions, with a few zooming or panning ones also. I didn't like how they had people sing the lyrics, I would have liked it better if they took peoples speeches and synched that up with the lyrics (that's just because amv editors don't get to have a source that actually says the same thing as the lyrics). At about 1:40, that was hilarious, with the people with giant bush masks and dancing
That was great.
Likes : : As far as a political message goes, he did a good job of showing the # of protestors. Shots from above to show how many people that really is (filling the streets for blocks at a time). Had people's opinions expressed and other statements "My brother is in the Navy and I just want him to come home safelly". Done pretty darn well.
Dislikes : : War costing 200 Billion *raises eyebrow* (since that figure includes foreign aid
that doesn't support protests nearlly as much) It would be better if the estimates used were 80 Billion, because that doesn't include any foreign aid in that estimate.
Number of congressmen with a child in the military: 1 (well now, I think anyone who went to SOAD's sight and read up on the video, knows that is a lie
)You can say that in a paper if you include the footnote, but there are no footnotes in videos.
US weighs nuclear strike against Iraq (and decides that's a very bad idea)
If that cartoon part isn't propaganda....then Hitler must be back from the grave.
"Between six and 10 million people are thought to have marched in up to 60 countries over the weekend"
And if he wanted to give the word of protestors more weight rahter than less, he really shouldn't have added one lady's comments that went "I don't understand how dropping bombs on children is the best way to achieve peace." It makes her look like she doesn't know what she is protesting, that she is only listening to propaganda. She could have said, just as easilly "I don't understand why Bush eats babies" (as far as understanding the situation goes, both statements come from the same source of information)
The Meh : : Naturally, all numbers were played up to the max to boost the point of the video, just how news from the whitehouse/pentagon would give the lower estimates. No biggie, that is expected from anyone portraying a "side" in anything. I think the people that read the full news articles, rather than just their catchy title, have a better grasp of the situation (general statement, focused towards anyone that reads this)

Damn dude, you really are the worst party clown ever.Machine wrote:And you still have no reason to back that statement. Keep talking man. Don't tell other people to not take stuff so seriously and then take offense to a simple joke.

Depends who tells the joke man. If I know you....I won't take it seriously....such as that you go to the college that rivals mine....I'll take that Party Clown joke as a complimant

BUt then again, I was somewhat trying to be serious with mr first post. It sucks when someone has something un-intelligent to say about me rather than the subject I present at hand

the video was very interesting but the main point of it was......stupid.
its preaty much about a shit load of ppl that dont want the war to happen (but its happening anyways) and i find any protest ever since the war started to be utterly useless. once the U.S Gov't does something the ppl dont like, they will continue it until they are done there job.
Iraq is a imperialistic nation under the control of a dictator that kills his own people. what makes other think that he wont go and attack a different nation like he has done so in the past?? he may have weapons of mass destruction, he may not. you cant just up and say "HE DOES" or "HE DOESNT". unless you are a Iraqi Gov't offical or Saddam himself, you will never know if he does or not. Buch choose to use the military to remove Saddam, i personaly think this is not a wise choice but he does need to be removed none the less, its too great of a risk if he lives.
im not with the war OR against it. this war has its pros and cons and we are not in any possition to say weather this war is just until we know 100% whats going on in both Iraq and the U.S Gov't.
thats my personal opinion and i stand by it ^_^
