HungryCrackPot ha for sometime now been reviewing whatever he deems worth sharing to you all through the use of his journal (psst, IM HUNGRY for anyone that does not know yet). In another thread, I suggested that I would be doing this, so now I am! In this thread, if you enjoy my reviews and want me to revies something in the media (anything at all!), go ahead and ask. Or discuss what I already have reviewed!

My next review shall be: DragonBall Z Budokai

DragonBall Z Budokai

sucks.

It's an over glorified version of Bid for Power. Th character's wire frames are alright, but the skinning sucks. It looks like every model was done in MS paint. And the game play was no different than the DBZ game I got on my Super Famicon. I tell you this game gets a mere 2/5. Giant homicidal fireballs are fun, but geesus why pay $50? Go get you a copy of Quake 3 and download Bid for Power (a total of $9.95).

I give it a 3.5/5. It's the second best dbz game I've played (The best being Hyper Dimension for SNES). The story mode was nifty in my opinion, I thought the cinematics were rather well done. But the main reason it gets an above average score would have to be all the unlockable and customizable shit. It feels like a mix of a wrestling and a fighting game. Plus it also makes for lots of multiplayer fun. So all in all I didn't think it was that bad, but its nothing too special, just a vast improvement over the psx games.

I just did the Review for Splinter Cell. The next review will be Aliens vs. Predator 2. There is no release date factor to my reviewing, so games can be as old as you like. The MK game would be a good thing to review, but you need to read my journals to see why that will take a while. Go to my profile (In my sig) and go to my journals from there.
