Yes, battery conservation was the main issue of most systems...
The thing with Sega, and I'm not saying they suck, but they tried too hard.
They would have done just fine if they had slowed down their pace!
I mean, they tried to advance before anyone could buy their old system! I still haven't seen a Saturn!
It's too bad their stockholders sold them off... Now we're stuck with microsoft...

Right now i have my GameBoy Color. It's been through many crashes on tile floors, and water problems, but it's not in that bad of shape. But the sound is crakily and incredibly low since it hit the cement in the driveway hard one day. But with headphones, it's perfectly fine.
I think for Christmas though I'm getting GBA...

If you do get one, I recommend Golden Sun, very good RPG, one of the better looking games for the console.

I've already beaten it.
About... Before last Christmas.
It only gave me 24 hours of gameplay... I was kind of dissapointed.
They sure are taking their sweet time with the sequel!
Other than that, it was good at the time, but it really doesn't seem to have any replay value.
