voice synthesizer program

i am looking fro a voice synthesizer program. what i ant to do is type in the words and select different pitches and tones. for ex i want to be able to duplicate the voice of ed 209 on robo cop or the female voice of the starship enterprize, the voice of star furys on babylon 5. It can be freeware or pay software any adivice and info is apreciateed. thank you

Thing is, you might want to get a program like Goldwave instead, because all the voices you mentioned are recorded human voices run through filters and effects.

I love it. I find it pretty easy to use, or else I've gotten so used to it that everything else I've tried seems counterintuitive.

It has a few filters to use (flange, metallize, etc.) and you can change pitch, playback rate, and more.

When I converted and trimmed my Mission: Improbable clip precisely to the fraction of a second that was called for, I used GoldWave.

It's my personal favorite for what I choose to do in temrs of audio editing. No doubt there are better programs, but I don't have a need for them yet.
