I would like to use Windows Terminal Server (RDP)/VNC/XDMCP for application sharing. While I have already figure out how to get VNC/SDMCP to run under different consoles and even compete against different consoles, I would like to know how to pipe users directly to an application instead of giving them a desktop to mess around with.
I know how to lock down users and desktops, I was just thinking about building my own homegrown solution using libVNC/RDP and Visual Stupido.... until I saw several Sourceforge projects like this. Is there any software that lets you do this?
I tried to set user's Terminal Server accounts to use "v_on.exe" (Virtual On) but some of the apps have problem with initializing and piping to the consoles, since they ignore the Windows appbox layer. Also, how do I set a proggie to act as shell?
If this included Non-windows authentication or if it's open source that would be great (but having a solution is enuf already). Perhaps I could set up an arcade and cut down on overhead with Thin Clients, or have a TTW subscription RPG system (Think about it, Ragnarok except with VNC, etc)...
Thanks. I know your not developers but even a hint would be appreciated!
