The game looks kinda cool, but because I play to get a GC, I will buy the one for that system of course. IIRC it's going to be like a zelda-like adventure game where you can up your player and skills like in an RPG.
But for fighting games in general: When talking 'bout superior fighting without button mashing the first thing that comes to my mind is SoulCalibur for Dreamcast. OMG that is a great game. I own it some year now, and played it thru several times, but it always gives me a challenge when I fight against the CPU. And when partying with another friend it all goes better! The cool thing about that game is, when you first play it, it looks like you can beat it with pure button smashing, and you can beat the CPU on easy so. But when fighting against a skilled player the button masher has absolutely no chance in hell!
