You can use the [] brackets to do it when you're in hiragana or katakana mode.

or (like jonmartensen said) just go to babelfish.altavista.com and translate it, copy it to clipboard and paste it hear ;-p than you don't need to know what your saying ;-p.

also I think, in W9x you can d/l the (MS) Japanese IME and enable japanese in control panel -> international settings (don't quote me on this... but it's something similar) and it's ctrl + number keys on the num pad... not sure though

To change between languages is ALT + SHIFT(default)

some sites are in japanese unicode rather than just japanese text.

Umm, that sentence didn't make a lotta sense ^_^ I think what you mean to say was:

私は日本人のようなタイプしている。

= I'm typing like a Japanese person.
