Nomination rejected due to stop motion animation not qualifying as live action for the purpose of the VCAs
According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don%27t_ ... 27m_Scared, this source utilizes, "puppetry, live action, and styles of animation including stop motion, traditional animation, flash animation, clay animation, and computer animation," and many of the puppetry and live action parts are included in this vid.

While the show "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared" uses live-action elements, the video in question uses almost exclusively various animation styles and techniques. And so for the purpose of the VCAs, it won't be allowed to participate in the Live-Action category.

While this is a very unusual and specific case, the decision will still stand to keep it exclusive to the animation categories.
