help!!! I can't download anything anymore!

Every time I try to download something and click "proceed", the Internet closes automaticaly and then appears the message "Internet has encountered a problem ...". Can you please tell me what should I do?

What browser are you using (IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc.) and operating system (WinXP, Vista, MacOS, etc.)?

I'd run a virus scan and then a spyware scan. If that doesn't fix it, try reinstalling your browser if that's an option.
