So... how do you watch the video if you can't download it?
I'm very, very sorry if this seems like a stupid question (actually, it is, so I'm sorry about that) but I've been wanting to watch this AMV for some time but there's no link or anything to watch it. I understand when someone says you can't "download" it but how else are you supposed to watch it? I mean, why is it even on the sight when you can't watch it?

The purpose of the site is to try and CATALOG every AMV ever made. Enabling the creator to either host their AMV here or provide a link of where it can be downloaded offsite are just extra benefits.
There are many reasons the vid might not be available for download at this time. At any rate, with vids like that, you're going to have to contact the creator and see if they could give you a copy. (Either by pm, email, IM, or whatever info is available on their profile.) If their last log-in was a long time ago (and therefore there's a chance they won't get your pm), there's no email info, or, in short, you can't get a hold of the creator, you could always ask in General AMV and see if, by some chance someone else might have a copy of it.

If a video isn't available for download, PM the creator and ask what's up - but realize a lot of videos listed (over 3000 if i recall correctly) were taken down a while back, others that are new might not yet be uploaded, and there's a significant number of videos that were most likely never made and were entered into the database against site guidelines.

Another approach is to ask people who left opinions on the video, if there are any.wurpess wrote:The purpose of the site is to try and CATALOG every AMV ever made.
