Video downloads but is blank!!

A while back I saw a pretty funny video at an anime get together that had the song "Everyone has had more sex than me" by tism. So I came on here, and the closest match I could find was this video here.

But when I went through the trouble of downloading it, the video does not play. The audio plays, but the video is blank. I know it's not a problem with my computer or software, because I have the latest quicktime installed, and another mp4 file plays just fine.

If this is the video I saw, it sucks that it does not work for me.

Well, there's nothing wrong with the file, so i'm going to go out on a limb and say quicktime sees a difference between x.264 and h.264.

Of course not. The computers that can play the video are the ones that have a problem.

The latest version of QuickTime does not support H.264 videos encoded using High Profile features, which are used by the video you are trying to view.

Use a player / install a codec pack that supports such features (e.g. VideoLAN Player, or, if you're on Windows, the CCCP codec pack) or write to Apple.

Quicktime does come bundled with OS X, but installing VLC is that much less of a hassle than expecting Apple to speed up their software releases, although people should notify them all the same, lest they remain ignorant of the problem.
