help please [how to save when downloading]

i went to the guide for downloading amvs but it says that the link will have a save as option, it does...kinda it has a save link as button, which doesnt seem to work for me as it usually comes down as a notpad file, can anyone tell me how i'm supposed to download videos?

also pop up blocker can make the local links not download I've experienced with explorer..

other than that.. if that doesn't help maybe someone else will give you some..
