download finishing way prematurely

I've been here for awhile and have never had this problem until now... well I was gone all summer and haven't DLed anything for quit awhile but anyway
I start a download and it starts downloading, it get about 2 or so MBs into it then says its done. And of course it is'nt but it says it is, this has happened on any dlownloads I've tried. Is there anything I con do to fix this? or am I doomed to not down load an amv again?

It sounds like your browser is stopping the dl (to me at least)
try going into your security settings, see if anything doesn't seem right.

I also remember reading somewhere on this site that download accelerators should not be used, that might also be a problem here.

ill check the browser setting and stuff im not using any dl accelerators though

I also have a similar problem of videos being downloaded too prematurely. The download goes very fast and when I play it, it seems it has only downloaded a few seconds of the amv. It has only happened to me a few times compared to all the amount of videos I have already downloaded, but I want to watch this amv that has the problem. That seems to be the only problem I have in downloading and watching amv's.

I had the sma issue last year on my University's network. It was their doing, so there was nothing i could really do about it except to try to download at non-"server heavy" hours. Ultimately, I ended up simply getting another connection.

Did you have that issue for all of your downloads? I've tried downloading it 3 times but it still won't download fully. I don't think the problem's on my end though.
