hey guy's, it's been awhile since i've done anything new, and i just
released a new amv, i'm not here to promote it, or beg for ops.
Hell, i might even already know the anwser to what i'm about to ask,
but i just wanna be sure.
my newest vid runs about 99.3 mbs, useing Dvix/Div5, anyway, i
wanna upload the same version of the vid, just in a more user
freindly filetype/size..ect, and i've seen a few guys do this, where they had their videos in 2-3 different formats of download, but all in the same
video profile, some where direct/indirect.
i'm wondering, can i do this just by uploading the same video, useing the same file name, but something like in Mpeg format, or Xvid?
i just wanna make it so my video can be seen by a broader crowd.
And i've seen alot of users makeing vids using WMV.ewww.lol
..but, it seems the downloads are faster.
if anyone has anyfeed back on this idea, and if what i said is the right way of doing it, please, let me know, if not, i'd really be greatful if
i could be corrected on this.

I'm pretty sure that the rules set forth by Phade makes this clear.
You can't upload (rather, you shouldn't although it is possible) the same video more than once.
Remastering is a different story.
To make your amv avaliable to a broader crowd you have to find another video host. I don't know of any off the top of my head, but you shouldn't have too much trouble finding them.
Here's a couple of free video hosting sites that I found:
uploadspider
putfile (this one has a 25MB limit though)
zshare (it says no hotlinking, but you might be able to pull off an indirect)
myveo (this one has a 20 MB limit).

There are other sites out there that will host your video...for a nominal fee each month (usually $15-$30 a month for the basic service...which should be more than enough)

thats what my question was all about, i guess i just worded it wrong
i want to host a lower size ver. of the vid on a different site, then
link it to here, then users don't have to download my videos just
to watch em. thanx for the websites
