Searching and sorting by hits for specific animes
Konichiwa ^^;
My brilliant idea, which may be have been suggested before (but I'm not looking through 41 pages of suggestions, and I can't think of a way to specify the words for the search) is as follows:
Searching by hits (and maybe average star ratings, or stars given) for specific animes/songs.
The perfect example is as follows:
I find myself searching through the 646 bazillion DBZ videos on the Org, faced with 12 million and 63 pages of AMV's to search through. OHSOFUN!
But wait, with my idea we can easily order the DBZ AVM's by the top million sorted by hits or star ratings given (or average star rating) without searching through the other 43 thousand million and 7 DBZ AMV's with 4 hits.
Although this method effectively kills the newly released AMV's by putting them on the last pages due to lack of hits and stars, it's perfect for someone looking for long time favourites of a specific anime.

Hits mean nothing... As long as you're not logged in you can click refresh forever on any video discription page to spam hits.finalx wrote: Maybe the idea of sorting by hits could be implemented though, I don't think that's avaliable to anyone.

My 14 year-old cousin thought it would be fun to keep hitting refresh on a vid to see if the hits went up or not... the "must be logged out" part I just assumed because when i look at one of my videos i noticed the hits counter doesn't go up.SuperFusion wrote:You actually took the time to figure this out? lolBasharOfTheAges wrote:Hits mean nothing... Maybe sort by number of stars (the amount of stars, not the score) or number of downloads? Sorting by number of stars might make more sense, since you can download a video multiple times but can only give it one star rating. That does exclude vids that aren't available on local, though. But is it possible to just add a feature to the top star scale to make it sort vids by the number of stars?
