I think we should add an amendment to the rules

Creating an introduction thread is strictly prohibited. We aren't your fan club, we don't care about your life. If anything, you don't come off as polite, but rather egotistical in thinking that we care about you. You will be banned without warning for these posts.

What do you think?

Wow thats such a wonderful idea. I wholeheartedly agree! But lets not stop there! I propose that we also ban people who propose stupid ideas!

In all seriousness, if you're seeing these threads as a problem... well, in that case, more efficient moderation is required. Which would also have been my suggestion for OT, but that's another story...

I think it's alright as it is. The locks come quickly enough, no need to fret.

hi im flint (the dwarf ^_^ duh) and im an anime fan whoe makes fvv ideos with adobe but im stuck because i cant dl naruto BECAUSE IM ON 56K LOL cn some1 help me plzplzplz??? oh also and cn some1 tell me how to do fx on my clips???

Personaly I wouldnt mind idiots like this geting instabans. When it comes to issues such as piracy related rules, the admins are too lenient.

If you're actually serious about these 'instabans', then we have to at least make a reading of the rules mandatory, because it's not fair to ban people that might not even see that there is a set of rules (their fault, not ours, I know). That's something I've been in favor of for a while. But how could it be implemented? You could just add on the registration page that you must read the rules, and there are no warnings for some offenses, which will result in an immediate ban. I don't know if that's already there, though, as it has been quite some time since I registered...

i think a forum for "introductions" wouldn't be a bad idea... it's not exactly clear that introductions are against the rules (unless you read it... not sure why they are aganst the rules either except for the whole off topic thing) but if someone sees a forum for introductions, it might help clean up the general amv forum at least. yea thats one more forum but i think we have enough people who arn't mods who sniff out posts that are against the rules already, i don't think it would that much of a problem...

also could put a sticky that links to the rules at the top of each forum in bold caps, lol.

just my 2 cents...
