Make a new+cool AMV skin!

Post by yumeyasuke » Fri Aug 26, 2005 1:53 pm

well...I 'm not saying the skin that a-m-v.org using rite now is bad, its just that, you know, this website is suppose to be a cute website, so it deserves a cute skin~~ there's all kins of skins to choose from. and they're all for PHPBBS~~~ you can take a look at them here ==>http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/catdb.php?db=2<== the style packs are not really huge~~ so it doesn't takes up much space on the internet~ and if you could, you can make a couple skins for people to choose from~ I do that with my forum all the time ^-^ anyways just a suggestion~ but if do interested in it, i'll be more than welcome to help =)

A couple of points:

1) (a) Accessibility is more important than (b) visual flare.
2) The .org isn't too hot on either, but focusing on (a) before (b) would be a good idea.

And you know trythil is smart because he uses (a) and (b).

I'm just saying that (a) is more important that (b), not what I'd use.

You should (c) what else he can (2).

He's referring to your choice of formatting item numbers...

Sure. And the "Skin" is going better and better improving graphics and functions, so for now I'm cool like this :)

One could take this idea even further: use Greasemonkey.
Greasemonkey is a Firefox extension which lets you to add bits of DHTML ("user scripts") to any web page to change its behavior. In much the same way that user CSS lets you take control of a web page's style, user scripts let you easily control any aspect of a web page's design or interaction.
