New video debut info

I'm trying to upload my new video but it says I need to have a debut date in the past. The deal is, I emailed the head of the contest at the convention at which I will debut my video (in September of this year), and they don't care if I distribute it online before the convention. So technically my debut will be on whatever day in September, but I can't put that in the video info. What should I do?

When you put the video online today before the convention then the debut will become today.

That's what 'debut' means.
