Media Player Problem

Um . . . Hi!

Recently, every time I try to download an AMV a media player starts to play it. I know it has something to do with the MIME settings on my computer, but I have no idea how to fix it! >_<

This has never happened before so I'm more than a little confused. And I can't even right click to save (it keeps marking it as a text file).

Check the format of the video you're trying to download (is it .wmv?). Now open up Windows Media Player. Go to Tools --> Options... ---> click on File Types tab. Now make sure that the box marked Windows Media Video File (wmv) is not checked. See if that fixes the problem. If it's a different file format that you're trying to download, deselect that file extension using the above process. If that doesn't fix it, look for similar settings in the browser you're using.
